Oprah Winfrey Was 'At Peace' With Her Father's Final Moments, Gayle King Shares

Gayle King is remembering her best friend's father. The "CBS Mornings" co-host took a moment in the show on Monday to honor Oprah Winfrey's late father, who died on Friday at 89 years old. Gayle shared clips from Oprah's Vernon Winfrey Appreciation Day party that was held on the July 4, which was just days before his death. Gayle ended her tribute by sharing how special of a man he was to her and her best friend, and how she believes Oprah and Vernon were both "at peace" in his final moments.
