Rod Stewart Cancels Las Vegas Show Due to Illness
Rod Stewart, the legendary 80-year-old singer known for hits like "Maggie May," announced a last-minute cancellation of his scheduled performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Just hours before he was set to take the stage on June 1, Stewart informed fans via Instagram that he was unwell.
"I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10," he wrote, assuring ticket holders that their tickets would remain valid for the new date.

Stewart's health concerns come as he prepares for a significant performance at Glastonbury later this month, where he will take the stage in the festival's Legends slot. This appearance marks a notable moment in his career, as he is among the oldest artists to perform at the iconic U.K. festival. Fans can expect a special reunion with Ronnie Wood during this show.
In addition to Glastonbury, Stewart's One Last Time World Tour continues throughout the summer, with more North American dates lined up. His residency at Caesars Palace is also set to extend into the fall, providing fans with additional opportunities to see him live.

Last month, Stewart received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, a testament to his enduring impact on the music industry. However, he faced health challenges previously, having canceled several Las Vegas shows in August 2024 due to strep throat and COVID-19.
Reflecting on his farewell tour, Stewart expressed his commitment to performing, stating, "This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire." He emphasized his passion for music, noting, "I love what I do, and I do what I love." At 79, he humorously mentioned his fitness level, claiming he could run 100 meters in 18 seconds.
