Sarah Silverman Reveals Pamela Anderson's Displeasure Over Roast Jokes

In a recent chat on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live, comedian Sarah Silverman opened up about her past with Pamela Anderson, revealing that the Baywatch star may not be a fan of hers. This revelation comes after Silverman made some pointed jokes about Anderson during the Comedy Central Roast of Pamela Anderson back in 2005.

During the interview, Silverman, now 54, discussed her career and her new Netflix special with host Andy Cohen, 56. The conversation took a turn when Cohen mentioned Anderson, recalling that Silverman had appeared in a 2002 episode of Anderson's action-comedy series, V.I.P.

“I will tell you something about Pam Anderson, who I think does not care for me, [which] I was surprised by,” Silverman admitted. She reminisced about attending a high-profile Hollywood gala last year as a date for her friend Sacha Baron Cohen, following his divorce from Isla Fisher in April 2024. “So I went, and she was there, and of course he’s got that connection from Borat with her and I had roasted her, and I was on that show, V.I.P.,” Silverman explained.

When Cohen offered to introduce Silverman to Anderson, the encounter took an unexpected turn. “She looks at me and she goes, ‘Oh yeah. You told horrible jokes about me on my roast,’ and then she turned around and left,” Silverman recounted, expressing her disappointment. “I was like, my heart [is broken].”

Anderson's representative has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding this incident. Silverman was part of a star-studded lineup at the 2005 roast, which included her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel as the host, along with other notable figures like Courtney Love, Adam Carolla, the late Bea Arthur, Tommy Lee, Jeff Ross, and Andy Dick.

For those who may not remember, Silverman's set during the roast included some sharp jabs at Anderson's looks and her infamous sex tape with ex-husband Tommy Lee. One of her memorable lines was, “You know a lot of people say ‘Oh, Pam Anderson wouldn’t be anyone without her tits,’ and that’s just not true. It’s not true. She’d be Paris Hilton.”

Interestingly, moments from Anderson's roast have resurfaced in the media before. In 2018, footage of comedian Andy Dick groping Anderson during the special gained renewed attention after he faced charges for groping a woman in Los Angeles.
