Romantic sparks are flying on the latest episode of 90 Day: Hunt for Love, but so are tensions between friends Colt Johnson and Usman Umar as they both vie for the attention of Cortney Reardanz.
“What’s going on with you and Cortney?” Usman, 36, probes Colt, 40, in an exclusive sneak peek of the episode airing Monday, June 16. Their conversation reveals the budding romance that has both men intrigued by the 34-year-old.
Colt expresses his feelings candidly, stating, “We kind of hit it off. I think she’s a really cool girl. I actually like her. I think we could date.” His enthusiasm, however, is met with resistance from Usman, who also has his sights set on Cortney.
“Bro, you know that’s my girl, right?” Usman retorts, prompting Colt to counter with, “She didn’t say that.” The tension escalates as Usman insists that their connection is still fresh, claiming Cortney wouldn’t have divulged anything significant to Colt yet.
Colt quips back, “You guys have a promise ring?” dismissing Usman’s claims of exclusivity. Usman’s competitive spirit surfaces as he declares, “I would do anything in order to win her heart,” followed by a warning: “I don’t think you should compete with me because you [will] lose.”
An awkward silence envelops them as Colt chuckles to himself while Usman watches intently. “I’m not hating on him,” Usman later tells the cameras. “It’s just a slap in the face for me to compete with Colt.” He adds, “Not any sensible lady will look at me and look at Colt and pick him over me.”

Usman elaborates on his self-assuredness, stating he is superior in terms of “knowledge wise, smart wise, hardworking wise.” He questions what Colt brings to the table beyond humor, suggesting that being funny alone isn’t enough for a relationship.
90 Day: Hunt for Love follows eight singles from the 90 Day universe as they embark on a quest for love in Mexico. Colt first appeared in season 6 of 90 Day Fiancé in 2018 and has since been featured in multiple spinoffs. Despite his past marriages, he remains optimistic about finding love through reality television.
“I’m recently divorced, so I really just wanted to try something new and just put myself out there,” Colt shared at a recent event. “I’m feeling pretty good. Got some new glasses. I feel pretty good.”
Usman’s journey began on season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days in 2020, followed by appearances in subsequent seasons. Earlier this season, viewers saw him attempt to charm a new contestant named Kassidy by introducing himself as Soulja Boy—though he clarified he’s not the American rapper.
Cortney expressed her concerns about Usman’s approach to romance after witnessing his unique flirting style. “If this is Usman’s idea about how he falls in love, I’m worried about how he approaches sex,” she remarked in a confessional.
