Her fortune has apparently gone down the tubes as well. Here's how she blew through all that cash. Tori's father, film and TV producer Aaron Spelling, was worth $600 million at the time of his death in 2006. But despite the fortune he'd amassed, he left only $800,000 to Tori. Her mother, Candy Spelling, told The New York Times that was because she and Aaron didn't trust Tori not to squander his hard-earned cash, adding, "She would close a store and drop $50,000 to $60,000. I never did anything like that. She just went crazy." In her 2013 memoir, Spelling It Like It Is, Tori admitted, "It's no mystery why I have money problems. I grew up rich beyond anyone's wildest dreams…Even when I try to embrace a simpler lifestyle, I can't seem to let go of my expensive tastes. Even when my tastes aren't fancy, they're still costly." Candy has reportedly been subsidizing Tori's habits for the sake of the kids, telling TMZ, "I've been paying all her bills now…just for the house, and the kids' schools, and their food."
