Two British Lezzies Caught Performing a Public Sex Act in a Shop Doorway as Children Head to School

May 21 2025
Two British women were caught engaging in a sexual act in a shop doorway on York Road in Birtley, Gateshead, at 8:45 AM, just as children were heading to school. The timing and location made the incident particularly inappropriate.

Sarah Crawford, 39, and Rosalind Fitzgerald, 42, were reportedly under the influence after a wild all-night party. Witnesses said they started fondling each other outside a shop, and it didn’t take long before things escalated. One horrified passerby decided enough was enough and called the police, which, honestly, was probably the right move.

Both women were arrested and charged with outraging public decency. They didn’t waste time and pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing. Fast forward to this week, and they were back in Newcastle Magistrates' Court for sentencing. Prosecutor Paul Anderson laid out the details, explaining how the women had been partying hard into the early hours of December 11.

Anderson stated, “They engaged in the conduct you have heard about outside a shop at 8:45 AM to the disgust of passers-by. Also, at that time of day, there would have been children going to school.” It’s just wild to think about how many kids were probably walking by, completely oblivious to what was happening.

Fitzgerald, who already has a hefty £12,000 debt to the courts, has faced her share of struggles in life. Her lawyer, Alanna Wesencraft, expressed her client’s remorse, saying, “She’s incredibly disgusted in herself.” Fitzgerald has had a clean record since 2019, so this incident was a real shocker.

The magistrates handed Fitzgerald a 12-month community order and slapped her with a £120 fine. As for Crawford, her lawyer, Andy O'Hanlon, asked for a delay in proceedings to get a pre-sentence report done. The court agreed and granted her bail, with a return date set for July 4.
