Back in October, in the leadup to the release of Todd Phillips’ ‘Joker,’ we released a very special episode of ‘Vs.’ that asked: Who is the best Joker of all time? At the time we didn’t include Joaquin Phoenix’s all-cackling, all-murdering, all-meltdowning Arthur Fleck because we didn’t yet know how he’d fare against the others when it came to our major criteria: Tomatometer, box office, cultural impact, and the dastardliness of their schemes. Now, a few months later, we do know, and with this new info we’re adding Phoenix to this mix.
