How Monica Lewinsky Helped Beanie Feldstein For ‘Impeachment’

Beanie Feldstein stars as Monica Lewinsky in “Impeachment: American Crime Story” which focuses on Paula Jones, Linda Tripp and Monica Lewinsky perspective during the Bill Clinton impeachment. Beanie told Access Hollywood at the Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday night what it was like playing the former White House intern, since she was involved in the creation of the show. “By the time that I got the script I knew that ever action that I portray as Monica was sanctioned by Monica herself, so it was really freeing in that way. We do get emotional and a lot of what I portray of Monica Lewinsky at that time is extremely emotional and I took the job extremely seriously.” FX’s “Impeachment: American Crime Story” debuts on FX on September 7.
