11 Questions & A Cup of Coffee: US Army Officer & Olympic Gold Medalist Amber English
Nov 25 2021
Amber English can outshoot you any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
As a logistics officer assigned to the US Army Marksmanship Unit, English is one of the most accurate shooters in the world. She recently represented America on the international stage at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she competed in women’s skeet shooting. Well, she didn’t just compete at the Olympics — she won a gold medal. And she didn’t just win a gold medal — she set the new world record with 56 hits. That’s 10 more than the previous world record.
We recently caught up with English to talk coffee, winning gold, and her preferred superpower — skeet shooting aside.
