Dude kicks woman's phone for filming 'sexual' squats in gym

A woman has sparked controversy by claiming that "women aren't safe in 2024" after a heated confrontation with a man while doing squats at a gym. Madi Ruvee, an adult content creator, filmed herself performing what she described as innocent warm-up stretches at a public gym when the angry man approached her.

In a video that went viral on her social media, Madi can be seen holding a medicine ball while doing deep squats. The man walked over and asked her, "What are you doing?" Madi explained that she was just doing her leg day warm-up. However, the man accused her of filming provocative content to sell online, saying, "No, don't give me that nonsense, I know you know what you're doing."

Madi continued to defend herself, insisting that the exercise was just a leg day warm up. She was shocked when the man pointed at her and berated her, saying she was what's wrong with girls. He told her not to do that at his gym and to keep it online.

The situation escalated when he kicked Madi's phone, causing her to comment that this is why 2024 is unsafe for women. A photo showed her phone with a cracked screen.

Madi raised concerns about the man's actions being "valid," sparking a debate on the internet. Some believed his behavior was unwarranted.

"If he's not the actual owner of the gym, you should report him to the gym manager for harassment. Even if he is the owner, it's still unacceptable for him to confront you like that," one person commented.

Another person stated, "Regardless of what you were doing, no one has the right to damage your property." A third person agreed, saying, "He destroyed your property, and regardless of your actions, you have the right to do exercises in the gym. He is clearly upset from being rejected multiple times, but that doesn't give him the right to destroy your phone or approach you in that manner."

However, some people speculated that Madi, who charges $11 a month for access to her exclusive OnlyFans content, was creating content for the X-rated subscription platform, which led them to justify the man's anger. One viewer commented, "He's valid and right, a gym is meant to gain muscle and become fit, not to become a h0rn ball and do shyt like that." Another person wrote, "The last thing I want to deal with at the gym is a prostitute recording sexual advertisement." Madi defended herself on TikTok, stating that she was simply doing pulse squats and should not face harassment at the gym just because she is a sex worker.

"So just because I do OF I'm not allowed to stretch at the gym? Because before I started OF I was doing that same stretch before every leg day, right?" she said. Madi argued that she was "minding her own business" in a corner of the gym and that she wasn't being "obnoxious" or "loud".

She also pointed out that there was no prohibition on phones. "It's disheartening to see all these comments suggesting that I deserve something because I was at the gym and stretching," she added.

Madi speculated that the man may have approached her because he recognized her as a sex worker. She elaborated, "I assume he already knew who I was because of my online presence, and that may have angered him as guys tend to get upset over things they can't have."

However, Madi's explanation did not convince everyone, as some argued that she was not actually doing pulse squats. "Girl, you were definitely not stretching, those were not pulse squats, it wasn't stretching, and you even added facial expressions," one person remarked. Another commented, "You know exactly what you were doing. You were being sexually suggestive in public, making everyone uncomfortable, and then getting upset when asked to stop. Those were not pulse squats." A third person wrote, "If a guy was making faces and humping the ground at the gym, he would be kicked out without a doubt."
