Feb 12 2023

However, the world wouldn’t know a lot of this, if it wasn’t for Decker Eveleth. The satellite imagery analyst was the first to discover China was secretly building 100 nuclear silos in Inner Mongolia. His findings made global news and caught the attention of the US military.
This satellite imagery analysis has become an essential tool in keeping tabs on China’s nuclear growth and military ambitions, and can provide a valuable insight into what’s going on in the minds of Beijing’s leadership.
In our series Super_Users, VICE World News explores the latest technology being used to fight crime, trafficking, climate change and social injustice.
