Angelina Jolie’s Company Sues Brad Pitt For $250 Million Over Their Winery

Angelina Jolie is firing back at her ex-husband Brad Pitt. According to court documents obtained by NBC News, the 47-year-old actress’ company filed a cross-complaint against the 58-year-old Oscar winner over Château Miraval, the South of France vineyard that they previously co-owned together. Jolie’s business, Nouvel, is seeking more than $250 million in damages, claiming her ex has been “waging a vindictive war against” the “Eternals” star ever since she filed for divorce in 2016. “In retaliation for the divorce and custody proceedings, Pitt embarked on a multifaceted, years-long campaign to seize control of Chateau Miraval and appropriate the company’s assets for his benefit and that of his own companies and friends,” the complaint filed Sept. 6 reads in part.
