IDK Talks Turning Down G.O.O.D. Music Deal & Best Rap Albums Of All Time | For The Record
Oct 23 2019
Last month, rapper IDK released his major label debut 'Is He Real?,' the concept of which hinges on one central question: does a higher power actually exist? IDK sat down with Genius' Head of Artist Relations Rob Markman for the latest episode of 'For The Record' to dissect the religious themes of the album. During the discussion, IDK revealed the message hidden within the project’s song titles, opened up about why he turned down a deal from G.O.O.D. Music, and explained why Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed album, 'To Pimp A Butterfly,' didn’t make his list of the 30 greatest rap albums of all time.
