This week marks the one-year anniversary of the Netflix miniseries, "When They See Us," and Access Hollywood looks back on our 2019 interview with director Ava DuVernay, where she discussed the "real human stories behind the headlines" in her series about the Exonerated Five. Ava more recently hosted a watch party of the series to prompt people to take action against racial injustices.
