How Suga Was Forced Into BTS

Jun 13 2020
Whether He Wanted To Be In BTS Or Not He's Definitely Made A Mark In Pop Culture History BTS is currently one of the biggest bands in the world, so big, it even has an ARMY of fans. But what if there was some deception behind the cute facade? The second member to join BTS, Suga has been the lead rapper of the group since its inception in 2010. One of the calmer guys of the band, he is known to not be a fan of the groups intense choreography (but that isn’t saying he’s a bad dancer), and he is very comfortable in a recording studio (he is a composer and producer). So it was surprising to fans that in an interview the rapper mentioned he was tricked into joining the popular K-pop boy band. So was Suga really deceived by Big Hit Entertainment founder and co-CEO, Bang Si-hyuk into joining BTS? The K-Pop idol has been vocal about this fun tidbit for years and with the star recently releasing a new mixtape under his Agust-D alias, it’s time to take a deep dive into this proclamation and see why this could be true or just one very long running joke.
