The Weeknd made a bizarre appearance at the AMA's the other day. Puzzled fans are asking WTF happened to him?! Well, we have the scoop. Apparently The Weeknd was masked and bandaged up to play his 'Blinding Lights' character. The singer said 'Blinding Lights' is all about being drunk and wanting to see your special person but have no way of getting there. He wanted to bring some awareness to the dangers of drunk driving and we think he definitely scared some of his fans! Love the message he's sending, but quite a whacky way to go about it.
