The late Chadwick Boseman took home the 2021 Screen Actors Guild Award for Lead Actor In a Film for his role as Levee in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.” And his wife, Simone Ledward Boseman, accepted the award on his behalf, sharing a poignant quote form the late star. During the ceremony, the “Black Panther” star was also remembered in the In Memoriam segment.
