The Real Reason The Queen Is So Much Smaller Than She Used To Be

Apr 20 2021
It's been nearly 70 years since Queen Elizabeth II was crowned queen of the British Commonwealth, with a coronation that took place way back in 1953 (although she became queen in 1952 following her father's passing from lung cancer). If you've been following the queen for those long seven decades, you've probably noticed some changes in the interim. Specifically, Queen Elizabeth II isn't quite as tall as she used to be. When she accepted the crown in 1953, it's reported that the queen stood at 5 feet and 4 inches. Now, though, she's significantly shorter. Why is that? Here's the real reason the queen is quite a bit smaller than she used to be. #TheQueen #Royals #Height
