We Finally Know Why Steve Quit Blue's Clues

Apr 24 2021
Steve Burns served as the host of Blue's Clues from its first episode in 1996 until he decided to quit six years later in 2002. As the beloved host of the children's show, Steve was the amiable dog-parent to Blue, a spotted dog with a penchant for leaving clues around their home. But after 100 episodes, Steve left for college and let his on-screen brother Joe take over. And while Donovan Patton's Joe was a serviceable host, people couldn't help but wonder about the real reason Steve Burns left Blue's Clues. Bizarre rumors surfaced about drug abuse, death, or just simply wanting to follow his dreams of being a musician. And while he did go and form a band, the rest of the reports were untrue. So, exactly why did he leave Nickelodeon for greener pastures? #BluesClues #Actor #KidsShow
