Lil Nas X is breaking the fashion mold with his show stopping style at the 2021 BET Awards. Access Hollywood caught up with the 22-year-old-singer on the red carpet, who wowed in a blue and white gown by Andrea Grossi. “I love that aspect of stepping out and not really caring what everybody’s about to say about it,” he said. The fashion risk taker says he pulls style influences from another style icon. “Elton John’s outfits, so flashy, so out there,” he said. What drew the "Montero" singer to his red carpet look was the pop culture references scattered throughout the artistic style. “It’s a lot of pop culture in here you know. You have Kanye in here somewhere, you have Eminem, and you have a random McDonalds and I love pop culture,” he said.
