The Oscar nominee came through for pal Mariska Hargitay in a major way this week, standing on the side of the road with a sign asking drivers to honk for the “Law & Order: SVU” star, who has spent the past few weeks recovering from multiple leg injuries. Melissa shared a clip of the gesture on Instagram and joked in her caption that her idea may have been a bit unconventional, but she couldn’t come up with anything better! “IIf you can’t produce quality care for your friend after ankle surgery, the next best this is obviously standing outside Wienerschnitzel with a sign,” Melissa wrote.
