From Peabody Award-winning director, Dan Klores, "Basketball: A Love Story" is a sweeping project that explores the complex nature of love as it relates to the game of basketball and opens the window to insights and perspectives about race, politics, media, art, business, style and entertainment. The film consists of 62 short stories on the NBA, ABA, College Hoops, the Women’s Game, International Basketball, and Socio-Cultural issues told by 165 Legends (with celebrity narrators). The cast encompasses basketball’s most prominent figures, from LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dr. J, Stephen Curry, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant as well as producer of the film, former NBA great Earl "The Pearl" Monroe.
