It has been almost two decades since Kate Middleton's friend from boarding school started hosting what would become the most infamous sex parties in the world.

Emma Sayle is the creator of Killing Kittens, where affluent adults gather for wild and hedonistic gatherings, signing non-disclosure agreements before indulging in their desires.

These female-led orgies take place in luxurious country estates and exclusive Mayfair clubs, drawing crowds of up to 900 attendees who must surrender their phones for a night of debauchery, surrounded by Champagne flutes.

Despite the intimate setting of multiple people sharing beds and a dominatrix in latex present to explore pleasure and pain, there are strict rules that guests must follow after being vetted. Men, referred to as Toms, are prohibited from making the first move on women, known as Kittens, who are encouraged to embrace a progressive female-first dynamic.

The Killing Kittens website states that their party rules and community values aim to promote equity and empower women to explore their desires, take control in sexual situations, and confidently communicate their desires in the bedroom. Attendees receive detailed guidelines on consent before each event, with toxic masculinity not tolerated while body positivity and inclusivity are encouraged.

Killing Kittens now hosts three kinky gatherings per month, generating £1.5 million in profits annually for the company.

Emma, who attended Downe House school with the Princess of Wales, is a busy businesswoman when she's not running her business. She is a married mother of three, with her oldest son currently working as an apprentice footballer with QPR. Her husband, James Tindall, has competed in hockey at two Olympics.

Killing Kittens, the business Emma runs, has been operating since 2005. Lucy Roeber, editor of Erotic Review, attended her first orgy at the age of 48 and shared her experience. The event took place at a country house near Wokingham, Berkshire, in November last year, with around 800 guests mostly in their 30s.

Lucy described the scene at the event, mentioning a couple engaged in intimate conversation on a red sofa in the hallway. As she ventured upstairs where the playrooms were located, she observed large double beds with up to ten individuals engaging in intimate activities. There were also rooms dedicated to a dominatrix and a dungeon for those interested in exploring different experiences.

Describing the orgies, Lucy, who did not participate, remarked: “It appeared that once on the bed, you could simply turn to one side and join in, with the verbal or non-verbal consent of the other individuals. As the night went on, the beds became so crowded with bodies that the red sheets were no longer visible, only body parts moving, heaving, and pumping; accompanied by the sounds of female whimpering and wailing. The sounds made me reflect on the influence that porn has had on our sexual experiences.”

Some members of Killing Kittens have previously shared with Daily Star what draws them back for more – with one woman stating: “For me, it's about feeling sexy.” Another member mentioned: “It's unlikely that I'll find a partner to settle down and have children with at a KK party, but I feel empowered by the members of KK when it comes to sex and having fun… and I'm embracing it. You all know why you're there. At a KK party, you feel immediately at ease, open, and talkative… there's no need to pretend to try hard to seduce someone - it's inevitable, it will happen.”

Emma, the daughter of a diplomat, has organized orgies in various cities around the world, including New York and Sydney. When asked about the popularity of these events, she explained: "They were created in response to the requests of young, financially independent single women and couples who were looking for something more fulfilling."

She also noted that the events are seeing a surge in popularity in densely populated areas like London, especially among millennials who are more assertive in meeting their desires. Emma believes that this trend is influenced by the changing roles of women in society.
