Tish, the mother of Miley Cyrus, believes that she would have been a better parent if she had started smoking weed earlier in life. Tish, who has five children including Miley, expressed this sentiment on her podcast Sorry We're Stoned, where she discussed her marijuana use with her daughter Brandi.

She admitted that she didn't start smoking pot until she was 46, and she feels that if she had started earlier, she would have been a more fun and tolerant parent. Tish believes that smoking weed would have made her more relaxed and enjoyable to be around, especially when it came to activities like school projects.

Tish credits Miley for introducing her to cannabis, which happened after a tour bus incident that led to the discovery of its benefits. Overall, Tish wishes she had incorporated marijuana into her parenting style earlier on, believing it would have made her a more laid-back and understanding mother.

She admitted that she had never smoked marijuana until the Bangerz tour, which was 10 years ago. Initially, she viewed it as a dangerous gateway drug. However, during the tour, there was a frightening incident where their tour bus caught fire due to a burst tire. In the chaos, she tried to wake up her daughter Noah, their dog, and Miley's manager. Fortunately, they were able to escape before the bus exploded, but Tish lost all her belongings in the fire. The stress of the situation led her to take a sleeping pill, which was ineffective.

Miley suggested that her mom try smoking weed to help her relax and sleep. Tish eventually took up smoking marijuana for its calming effects, despite being a Christian. She now admits that she loves using weed for its therapeutic benefits.

Despite Tish now using weed, her relationship with her daughter Noah seems strained due to rumors that she got together with her now-husband Dominic Purcell while Noah, 24, was supposedly dating him. Tish has not addressed the rumors about the Prison Break star, but according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, "Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him."

Tish revealed on the Call Her Daddy podcast that she has had a crush on Dominic for a long time, ever since she saw him portray Lincoln Burrows in Prison Break. She even joked that he was her "hall pass" while she was still married to Billy Ray Cyrus.

She shared, "In 2016, Dom messaged me. I had been following him on Instagram and he sent me a message saying, 'Hey Tish, just wanted to [say], I think you’re super cool and… you’re doing such a great job with your family.' I didn’t see it for a year."

She went on to say: "[His] ex had noticed he reached out to me and blocked me on his Instagram. I was so surprised and amused because I thought, why am I blocked? He doesn't even know I exist, and yet I'm blocked. We couldn't stop laughing about it."

Later on, they decided to meet for lunch after Tish's divorce, and they ended up kissing for hours. Miley happily walked her mom down the aisle at her beautiful wedding, acknowledging the genuine and sweet love between Dom and her mom.
