Britney Spears has once again pushed the boundaries on Instagram by sharing three throwback photos in which she is completely naked. The 42-year-old singer gave her 42 million followers a peek at her backside as she posed on the beach. In the photos, she stood sideways to the camera, gazing over her left shoulder and covering her chest with her hands. While she made sure to protect her modesty, she seemed comfortable showing off her peachy behind.
Two of the photos were nearly identical, with only slight differences in color editing, while the third photo showed her blonde hair not blowing across her face. Each photo was captioned with a simple flower emoji.
In a separate post just moments before, Britney shared a short and somewhat odd video of herself lying by her pool, wiping her eyes and playing with her hair.
In a strange caption accompanying the video, Britney shared: "Last night, while lounging in my heated pool gazing at the stars, I realized I needed a new face wash. Being too lazy to get up and find one, I took matters into my own hands. Like a cat, I licked my paws and smoothed my face with my fingers. Of course, I eventually went inside and rinsed my face.
The important lesson here is the value of honesty. Surround yourself with people who know your truth and support you. Not only will they have your back, but they will also make you feel incredibly beautiful."
Britney, who goes by the name Xila Maria River Red on the platform, once again disabled comments to avoid any interaction from her fans. This comes after her ex-husband recently spoke out about the true reason behind their divorce. He expressed gratitude for the time they shared together and acknowledged that people can grow apart and move on.
In an interview with People magazine, he vowed to never speak negatively about his past with Britney, stating that he doesn't understand why some people choose to do so when they part ways.
"I will never forget the amazing experience and great life I had during that chapter of my life. Despite the irreconcilable differences that led to the divorce proceedings I initiated last year, it will always be a part of my story."
