Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have officially settled their divorce after just 14 months of marriage. Rumors have surfaced claiming that the pop star is facing financial challenges, allegedly blowing through her $60 million fortune.
The couple's split comes shortly after Britney resolved her legal battle with her father, Jamie Spears, out of court. As per reports, Britney had to cover her father's $2 million legal fees, in addition to the $4 million she had already spent on her own legal team.
For over a decade, Britney's father acted as her conservator, a situation she recently spoke out against, accusing him of abusive behavior and financial misconduct. Despite rumors of financial struggles, sources close to the singer have stated that Britney is far from going broke.
While this may be Britney's third failed marriage, it pales in comparison to her annulment after 55 hours with childhood friend Jason Alexander and her two-year marriage to Kevin Federline. Reports also suggest that Britney will be paying $20,000 per month in child support for her son Jayden Jaymens until June 2025.
