Gwyneth Paltrow's LA Mansion Hits the Market Post Son's Graduation

Gwyneth Paltrow, the renowned actress and entrepreneur, is making headlines as she prepares for a significant life transition. Following her youngest son Moses' high school graduation, Paltrow has decided to part ways with her opulent Los Angeles mansion, listing it for an impressive $29.99 million. This move signifies a shift towards downsizing for the 51-year-old star.

Paltrow acquired this magnificent 8,000-square-foot residence back in 2012 for $9.95 million during her marriage to Chris Martin, with whom she shares two children, Moses and Apple. The sprawling estate, boasting eight bedrooms and eleven bathrooms, was originally constructed in 1950 and underwent a significant renovation in 2009.

Upon her relationship with Brad Falchuk, the co-creator of "Glee," Paltrow welcomed Falchuk and his two children, Isabella and Brody, from a previous marriage into the luxurious abode.

The mansion, nestled at the end of a picturesque driveway, features a striking gray brick exterior. Stepping inside, guests are greeted by an elegant entryway adorned with black-and-white tiles and French doors leading to a cozy living room complete with a fireplace, a bar, and bookshelves.

The kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, showcasing a marble island, built-in cabinets, and a wood-burning oven for gourmet cooking experiences.

Outside, the property boasts a serene backyard with a refreshing plunge pool and a guesthouse that includes a temperature-controlled wine cellar, a gym, a game room, an office, and a movie theater. Additionally, a one-bedroom apartment above the garage adds to the estate's allure.

While bidding farewell to her LA mansion, Paltrow maintains residences in Montecito, California, and Amagansett, New York. It is speculated that she may be eyeing another property in Los Angeles, as per insights shared by listing agent Lea Porter.

Notably, last year, the Oscar-winning actress offered a unique opportunity for a single-night stay at the guesthouse on her $5 million Montecito property, describing it as a sanctuary for respite and mental clarity. Paltrow and Falchuk moved into a lavish nine-bedroom, sixteen-bathroom mansion in 2020, two years after their marriage.

At Moses' recent graduation ceremony, Falchuk, Martin, Paltrow's mother Blythe Danner, and daughter Apple, who celebrated her own commencement in 2022, were all present to mark the special occasion.
