New York City dancer Órla Baxendale died due to a peanut allergy reaction after mistakenly consuming a cookie that was mislabeled and did not disclose the presence of peanuts. Legal representatives of Baxendale have confirmed that the 25-year-old passed away from anaphylactic shock caused by a severe allergic response to the holiday cookie. The cookie in question was produced by Cookies United and sold at Stew Leonard's.
