One star from the TLC reality show My 600lb Life has undergone an incredible transformation, shedding over 400lbs. Wess Schulze, who initially weighed 705 pounds, sought the help of Dr. Younan Nowzaradan and lost 220lbs through bariatric surgery and intense exercise. He has since lost even more weight, dropping five jean sizes and being able to wear a seatbelt in the car again.
In a recent Instagram video, Wess bravely took off his shirt and wore black trousers to show the reality of his weight loss journey. Despite having sagging skin from the drastic weight loss, he appeared much happier and healthier as he smiled at the camera, embracing his "imperfections."
In his post, Wess shared, "Good morning everyone. I wanted to show you guys my body. I wanted to show you every stretch mark, every dimple, every piece of loose skin, every wrinkle. Everything that I have, because every single one of these things that somebody else says is an imperfection is something that I find beauty in right now."
"I have achieved it. I have successfully lost 400 pounds," he exclaimed, proudly displaying his slimmer figure. He even went as far as removing his pants to showcase the weight loss in his legs, pulling at the excess skin on his neck.
In the caption, Wess wrote: "This is my body, and it is beautiful just the way it is. No filters. No edits. Just real. 400 pounds lighter. There is still more to go, but I believe in myself, and I am grateful to have all of you supporting me. Please like, comment, and share. Let's build a community of love and positivity together. I've owned this car for four years and never could wear a seatbelt until now. It's the small steps that lead to big milestones."
Another exciting moment for Wess was when he tried on a pair of jeans and was amazed by the results. He exclaimed: "OMG I AM FREAKING OUT. Just tried on a pair of jeans... they are 11 inches smaller, roughly five sizes down from what I used to wear! And they are even a bit loose on me!"
