Mike Tyson's Health Scare on Flight Sparks Concern Ahead of Boxing Match
May 27 2024

Former professional boxer Mike Tyson encountered a medical emergency while on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. According to his representative, Tyson, 57, suffered from nausea and dizziness caused by an ulcer flare-up just 30 minutes before landing. Despite the scare, Tyson is now reportedly in good health and grateful for the medical staff who assisted him.

Reports initially suggested that Tyson's medical issue had caused a delay prior to takeoff, but his representative clarified that it was actually due to an air conditioning problem on the aircraft. This incident comes just two months before Tyson is scheduled to return to the ring for a highly anticipated fight against Jake Paul.

Speaking about the upcoming match, Tyson expressed his excitement, calling it a "no-brainer" and stating his desire to shake up the sports world. Despite his enthusiasm, Tyson acknowledged the challenges he faces, admitting that his "body is s–t." He has been diligently training for the fight, documenting his progress on social media.

On the other hand, Jake Paul, known for his YouTube career, has been equally dedicated to his training regimen. Paul has confidently declared himself a "natural-born heavyweight" and expressed his readiness to face Tyson in the ring. The match between the two fighters is set to take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be streamed live on Netflix on July 20.
