Beyonce's Transformation Is Seriously Turning Heads
Mar 18 2021
Beyoncé has seemingly ascended into pop culture immortality. The 28-time Grammy winner boasts nearly 170 million Instagram followers, and a decades-long career that shows zero signs of stopping. But the Queen didn't always run the world. From her Texas childhood to her global icon status, here's why Beyonce is seriously turning heads.

Beyoncé was born in 1981, to parents Matthew and Tina Knowles . But unlike her husband, Jay-Z, Beyonce enjoyed a relatively privileged upbringing. She told Vanity Fair,

"I didn't grow up poor. I went to private school; we had a very nice house, cars, [and] a housekeeper."

From an early age, Beyoncé knew that she was destined to be an entertainer, and she pushed herself to do her best. She said,

"I wasn't doing this because I didn't have a choice, or to support the family, or because I had to get out of a bad situation. I just was determined; this is what I wanted to do so bad."
