REWIND BACK TO 2009 when Iceland's primary industry, fishing, had shifted to international banking, positioning their economy to be one of the first and biggest victims of the global financial collapse. For a country that believes in mythical elves, a group of Icelanders think the bankers were the real trolls. They thought the money boom would last forever, but when it all came crashing down, thankfully they discovered later that they had other riches that would keep them afloat.
