Emma Watson's Audi A3, worth £30,000, was reportedly towed by the police in Stratford-upon-Avon for illegal parking. The actress, known for her role as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter, allegedly parked her car without realizing it was in violation of a "No Parking" sign.
This resulted in blocking the entrance to a car park for approximately three-and-a-half hours. During this time, Emma visited a nearby pub called the Rose & Crown, causing inconvenience to other drivers.
The manager of a local pizza restaurant, where Emma's car was parked, tried to locate the owner but was unsuccessful. Eventually, they called Warwickshire Police, who sent a tow truck to remove the vehicle.
The manager, who preferred to remain anonymous, explained that they had no choice but to involve the police in order to free their own car.
After explaining that it was the manager's "last thing they needed" after a 12-hour shift, they continued, "However, when the police began to tow her car, she suddenly emerged from the pub, shouting, 'That's my car, that's my car!'"
According to a witness who spoke to the same publication, "It was around 11pm when I spotted Emma Watson on the street. The police had impounded her Audi A3 and loaded it onto a recovery truck. She was desperately pleading with them not to take her car away. Unfortunately, they ignored her pleas and proceeded to tow it. Evidently, she had parked in front of some gates, blocking this person in for several hours."
The Warwickshire County Council imposes a £70 fee for significant parking violations, which is a relatively insignificant amount compared to Emma's reported £60 million wealth.
In November, Emma made a stunning appearance at the premiere of We Dare to Dream, marking her first public event in quite some time. In recent years, she has chosen to keep a low profile, with only occasional appearances such as showcasing her latest swimsuit campaign during the summer. Her social media accounts have remained largely inactive.
Emma's film career has experienced a slight decline, with her most recent project being a short film in 2022.
Before that, her last major role was in 2019 when she portrayed Meg March in Little Women.
