Weston Cage, the son of renowned actor Nicolas Cage, has found himself in hot water after being accused of assaulting his mother, Christina Fulton. Fulton was reportedly seen with a black eye and several facial bruises following the alleged incident.
Sources revealed to TMZ that Weston was named as a suspect in a battery report involving his mother, stemming from an altercation that took place at Fulton's Los Angeles residence on April 28. The verbal dispute between the mother and son reportedly escalated into a physical altercation.
Although first responders were called to Fulton's home, she did not require hospitalization for her injuries. Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the case to determine if it will be classified as felony battery.
As of now, no arrests have been made as Weston, 33, had left the scene by the time authorities arrived.
Sources close to Fulton, 56, disclosed that she had invited Weston over to offer him support during an "emotional moment." However, Fulton has denied the allegations of a physical altercation and has requested privacy in this matter.
Recent photographs of Fulton show her with visible bruises on her face, including a noticeable black eye and fading yellow marks on her cheeks and forehead.
Representatives for Fulton and Nicolas Cage have not provided immediate comments on the situation.
Notably, Fulton and Weston were previously involved in legal action against Weston's estranged wife, Hila Arounian, accusing her of embezzlement and filing a fraudulent restraining order to prevent them from seeing Weston's twin daughters.
In separate lawsuits filed in November 2023, Fulton alleged emotional abuse and manipulation by Arounian towards Weston, while Weston claimed that Arounian took advantage of him during his recovery from mental health issues. Arounian has refrained from commenting on the allegations.
Weston, who shares daughters Cyress and Venice with Arounian, is also a father to Lucian and Sorin from previous relationships.
