Jussie Smollett Says 'It's About Damn Time' For Women's Bodily Autonomy

Jussie Smollett, along with Brandee Evans and Thomas Mackie, tells Access Hollywood at the 2022 BET Awards why the network and annual show has meant so much to Black culture. And, the trio quotes Lizzo's summer hit "About Damn Time" to share what they think are pressing issues, and Jussie expresses his support for women's bodily autonomy. "It's about damn time men keep they damn hands, and minds, and judgments, and laws off of women's bodies," he said.
