Kim And Kourtney Kardashian's Tensions Boil Over In KUWTK Trailer

Just when you thought Keeping Up with the Kardashians couldn't get any more dramatic, the series released a wild Season 18 trailer featuring an epic showdown between siblings Kourtney and Kim Kardashian. We're not sure if the sisters' issues with filming are to blame for the recent fight with Kourtney, although the trio's tension is quite apparent in the trailer. The tension only builds from there, culminating in a heated argument that leads to physical blows. This isn't the first time fans have seen Kim and Kourtney fight, but it's never reached a physical place before. It's possible that this is what Kim was referring to when she teased some seriously heightened drama during a February 2020 appearance on Laura Wasser's podcast. Younger sister Kendall Jenner also chimed in on the drama during a January 2020 appearance on The Ellen Show, echoing what Kim told Laura Wasser. She said: "Let's just say it gets a little crazier before it gets any better. There's some pretty crazy things that happen." Fans are probably wondering what transpired for Kim and Kourtney to hit such an ugly crescendo, but tension between the two sisters has been brewing for awhile now. In Season 17 of the show, Kim and Khloé Kardashian reached a breaking point with Kourtney Kardashian about her unwillingness to film certain parts of her private life. "If I have boundaries, respect them. Just because you like to show every single thing… cause she likes to show every single thing!" Khloé shared her frustration, and later commented on a fan report criticizing Kourtney's supposed lack of transparency: "I'm not surprised that the report says that people don't feel like they know the real Kourtney, 'cause sometimes I don't think Kim and I know the real Kourtney." The bad blood between Kim and Kourtney Kardashian has been escalating for even longer than you'd think. In September 2019, the sisters got into an epic fight after Kim accused Kourtney of copying her style, a jab which quickly escalated from there. "Kim and I just got into the biggest fight. She was just going so crazy. She's sending me the meanest text messages, you would die. She's like, 'You're the biggest ungrateful b----.'" Kourtney continued to relate the fight to her friend, calling Kim, quote, "petty" and taking jabs at her aspirations to become a lawyer. Meanwhile, Kim also weighed in on the fight, ranting to her mom about Kourtney's supposed fake concern about world affairs. Yikes! It's clear these two have long held issues to work out. So, does all of this mean that Kourtney is planning to leave the show? In recent years, Kourtney Kardashian has expressed less interest in continuing on with the family's show. This was especially apparent when Kourtney said she wouldn't care if the series ended tomorrow, a statement that appeared to offend Khloé Kardashian. And in November 2019, the mom-of-three revealed during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she's ready to switch gears. "I've just decided to spend more time as a mom and you know, put more of my energy there. But I'm not saying goodbye." It's also possible Kourtney might change her life somewhere abroad, as she revealed to Paper magazine, "I always say I want to move away someday and just be away from it all. Sail away. No one will ever see me again. [...] Maybe Norway. Switzerland? I've got a lot of ideas." It remains to be seen whether this recent fight with Kim will cause Kourtney to jump ship sooner than she had planned.
