King Charles III is mourning the death of his mother. The eldest son of Queen Elizabeth, who inherited the responsibilities and privileges of king immediately at the time of his mother's death, released a heartbreaking statement following her passing at the age of 96 on Thursday. "The death of my beloved mother, her majesty the queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family," Charles shared.
