Lea Michele To Miss 'Funny Girl' Shows Due To COVID
Sep 11 2022
Lea Michele has tested positive for COVID less than a week after making her much-anticipated debut as Fanny Brice in "Funny Girl." "The Broadway star confirmed the news on Saturday, writing in part on her Instagram Story, "In following production protocol, I cannot return to the theater for 10 days Thankfully staying home today and catching this early protected so many members of our company from being exposed. 'Funny Girl' has been and still is tackling a tremendous wave of COVID with close to a dozen company members currently out."
