Taylor Hawkins Honored By Red Hot Chili Peppers At 2022 MTV VMAs

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are remembering their dear friend on their big night at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. The rock band honored the late Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins, in their speech while receiving the Global Icon Award. “I want to dedicate this to Taylor and his family; I love them and I miss him every day. Fly on Hawk, fly on brother,”the group’s drummer, Chad Smith said. That wasn’t the only moving part of their speech, the band’s front man Anthony Keidis thanked his bandmates for getting him out of a rough patch earlier in his career.
