Tessa Thompson & Justin Theroux Give Props to Their ‘Lady and the Tramp’ Canine Co-Stars

Disney+ launches with some hugely anticipated titles – hello, ‘The Mandalorian’ – but for Disney animation purists perhaps the most exciting is the live-action remake of ‘Lady and the Tramp.’ The re-imagined tale of a canine princess-and-pauper romance stars Tessa Thompson as the voice of Lady (played by Rose) and Justin Theroux as the voice of Tramp (a scruffy charmer named Monte). Ahead of the movie’s release and the launch of Disney+, Rotten Tomatoes correspondent Naz Perez sat down with Thompson and Theroux and their furry counterparts Monte and Rose to talk about recreating the original’s most famous scene and deepening the dogs’ backstories. Plus, the dogs give us THEIR thoughts on recreating the famous spaghetti scene (really!), and could we be seeing a Valkyrie spin-off series on Disney+? Watch to find out.
