‘The Gentlemen’ Stars Break Down ‘Dapper’ Director Guy Ritchie’s Wild On-Set Method
Jan 14 2020
After a decade of massive studio blockbusters – ‘Aladdin,’ the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ films – British director Guy Ritchie returns to the genre that made him a household name in gangster flick ‘The Gentlemen.’ And for the occasion he’s assembled an all-star cast: Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Dockery, Henry Golding, Hugh Grant, and more. Ahead of the movie’s U.S. release, the actors sat down with Rotten Tomatoes to reveal what drew them to the new Guy Ritchie project (for Hunnam and Grant, what brought them back for more); the on-set changes Ritchie would make to the movie and how they dealt with them; and who among them is the finest gentleman. Plus: Henry Golding reveals new details about the upcoming G.I. Joe spin-off, ‘Snake Eyes.’
