After weeks of battling it out in court, the seven member jury has officially decided that Amber Heard defamed Johnny Depp. While Heard won a small victory, the verdict largely fell in Depp's favor. They awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages, totaling $15 million. But don't expect the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star to start cashing any of Heard's checks any time soon, at least according to legal experts. In fact, when and if Heard will even be asked to pay up at all is still in question. Here's the real reason Johnny Depp won't receive a $15 million check from Amber Heard.
