The Stripper Consultant Who Gave ‘Hustlers’ Authenticity, Dignity and Sexual Freedom

Meet Jacqueline Frances, the comfort consultant for "Hustlers." Frances helped train Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer and the rest of the cast on the ins and outs of stripping, and held the production itself to a higher standard that how she's seen her work place represented in media. Frances (who goes by the handle Jacq the Stripper) served as a consultant on the STX film as a resource for both the actors and producers to combat what she says is a longstanding toxicity in our culture: “The representation of sex workers in mainstream media is trash.”
