George Miller Unveils Plot for Next Mad Max: Fury Road Prequel Focusing on Furiosa and Max's Backstory

George Miller has announced the plot for the next Mad Max prequel, which will focus on the backstory of Furiosa and Max before the events of Fury Road. The director explains that in order to create a coherent narrative for Fury Road, they had to develop a detailed backstory for the characters. Miller and his team have already written a novella detailing the 18 years leading up to Furiosa's introduction and the year before we meet Max in Fury Road. This untold story will be explored in the next installment of the Mad Max franchise.
