Why Serena Williams Didn’t Want Olympia At Her Tennis Matches

Serena Williams’ daughter Olympia may be her number one fan, but there is a reason why the tennis pro didn’t want her daughter to attend some of her matches for some time. In a preview clip from her appearance on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on Wednesday, the 41-year-old tennis legend explained how having her 5-year-old daughter at her matches was a distraction. “Well, I just was worried I’d get distracted because I would be like, ‘Wait is she drinking? Is she doing this?’ She came to a match once, like super brief, and I was like, ‘Oh my god is she wearing sun cream?’ It’s nuts,” she said. Olympia was able to cheer on her mom as she competed in her final U.S. Open this summer, and it was truly an adorable moment!
