Universal Pictures’ SHE SAID, starring Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan and Emmy nominee Zoe Kantor, is based on the true story of how New York Times journalists Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor uncovered a decades-long pattern of alleged sexual assault and abuse committed by Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein. Because of their work, and the bravery of survivors and witnesses who came forward, Kantor and Twohey were able to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles and reveal the truth. In the wake of their first story, published in October 2017, more women would come forward and Weinstein would eventually be convicted and imprisoned. The impact of their story would ignite a fire in the #MeToo movement and help empower survivors all over the world to stand up and speak out.
