Colleen, a special needs teacher, was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) early in her teaching career. The stress of the pandemic triggered her tics to become more severe, including hitting herself. Despite the challenges, Colleen remains dedicated to her dream career and has become a role model for her neurodiverse students. She has taken to TikTok to raise awareness for Tourette's syndrome and OCD, sharing videos of her tics and personal experiences. Colleen's work has garnered a supportive following and she continues to advocate for young people across the neurodiversity spectrum.
